  • Status

    Ongoing

  • Location Hanoi, Dien Bien & Ha Giang

Covid has exponentially increased the number of youth on Hanoi streets (+46% vs pre-pandemic), thereby increasing the risk of exploitation. The project aims to build career paths for these youth & street children, protecting them from human trafficking through:

1/ Preparation for 2 groups

a) Ethnic minority youth - Work with 6 schools in rural provinces to organise school talks on safe migration, risks of trafficking & exploitation in the city

b) Street children - Provide accommodation, nutrition & health support, and career orientation, workshops (Rights, job requirements, etc), counselling & scholarships

2/ Access to career opportunities: Network of business partners to be built  for job opportunities through internships, apprenticeships, trainings (Writing CVs, motivation letter or interview participation).
