The program, born out of the Charity relationships with the rail industry & British Transport Police (BTP), aims to moilize rail players to commit to safeguarding children being exploited or escaping whatever traumas they face on the railways every day, through:
1/ Partnership work in the North-West to raise awareness on station safeguarding & initiatives to improve responses to children (Safeguarding Action Groups designed to bring together stakeholders: Station management, BTP, station retailers, security, TOCs)
2/ Trainings to support rail staff respond/help vulnerable youth
3/ Direct support work with youth (Goal setting, change-making in their lives), parents/family (Advice to improve relationships) & school/community groupwork
4/ Platform enabling youth who have completed the journey to actively engage in regular youth forums.
