The Life and Career Academy is a training project for youth with Down Syndrome who have already finished formal education but need support in developing autonomy and job skills. 

Training tools and materials are provided on basic skills such as managing money, using public transport, communication and cooking among others. However, the COVID-19 situation has highlighted the need for online trainings. The project focuses on “training the trainer” through the creation of a distance education platform to increase accessibility and enable more trainers and trainees to benefit from it.
