The TEV Uğuz Tarık Demirağ Vocational & Technical High School laboratory, which focuses on railway systems, has been heavily impacted on its supply of materials which has become too expensive, and consequently on the quality of education provided.

Due to the COVID crisis, some students have also dropped out of school, especially young girls. A fully equipped laboratory should help students finalize their studies.

The project involves:

• Selection of 10 undergrade female students from engineering fields (Based on their financial needs & motivation
• Scholarship program that covers the students’ monthly expenses (625 EUR/y/student)
• Mentorship in which Alstom Turkey team & students will be matched as mentors & mentees
• Online trainings on leadership, effective communication, career planning, etc.
