In Clare A Town & surroundings, women & girls spend a considerable time each day walking great distances to fetch water from contaminated sources, leading to various illnesses & death. Project aims to provide clean water access through a solar-powered water supply system & train local community to maintain the installations. Key activities:

1/ Drill well & build water tower (10m)

2/ Install solar panels & power a pump

3/ Raise a 10 000L water tank for the groundwater pumped

4/ Dig trenches & install pipes to distribute water, engaging community members to receive skills training + employment (10 men & women)

5/ Build 10 water stations

6/ Install remote monitoring technology to track electricity & water consumption

7/ Provide access up to 30 000L of safe drinking water at any time

8/ Launch communication campaign (Adoption, safe storage & good hygiene practices).
