  • Status

    Project completed

  • Location Nepal

The Alstom Foundation is teaming up with six different NGOs to make the Durlong Khola project a reality. The goals are to build a 3km 11kV line to connect to the grid. International engineers will also lead different construction activities and train local staff to ensure the sustainability of the project.

A total of 10,000 was already donated to the Local Energy Network in order to conduct a study to measure the feasibility of the project (including studying the optimal place to build the power plant). In the meanwhile, the Energy Network has to find additional findings for the whole project to become a reality.
