Hurricanes Ingrid and Manuel, which tool place on September 13 - 20, 2013, have negatively affected the lives and livelihoods of more than one million people in Mexico, particularly in the South-Eastern region of the country, Guerrero.

Being one of the most affected regions, it is urgent to reinforce education in Guerrero as 20% of the population is illiterate. The Fundo Unido decided to rebuild two schools in the suburbs of Acapulco to facilitate education in the area.
