Alstom Foundation’s partner for this project, Oasi Giovani, has organised sewing workshops for young mothers for some years now. They host mothers and their babies who are going through a difficult time due to economic or social issues, and help them earn a respectable income.

With the grant from Alstom Foundation, the partner NGO intends to scale up the project. Together, our aim is to provide economic support and to increase job opportunities for the mothers of the baby-parent community and other disadvantaged people in Savigliano, Italy. This will be achieved by organising professional and officially recognized sewing and tailoring training courses in collaboration with Etrusca School of the Piedmont region.
