In Italy, vulnerable women (Survivors of gender violence, migrants, refugees) face significant barriers to employment (Rate is <40% in southern regions). The project aims to strengthen the economic independence of 100 women through the NGO's Support Desk Model which offers personalized & sustainable pathways to employment in Rome, Matera & Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (Sicily):

1/ Individual support (Counsellors & cultural mediators) involving skills & needs assessment, CV building, job search assistance & interview preparation

2/ Job matching & placement with businesses & employment agencies for interships, apprenticeships or short-term missions

3/ Vocational & language trainings in basic digital literacy, Italian & customer service

4/ Mentoring & soft skills development (Small group sessions, peer-to-peer exchanges, company visits & potential support from Alstom volunteers).
