This project will promote development in rural areas through a stable and sustainable economic activity, based on environmental respect. The main project goal is to rehabilitate hydraulic infrastructure and involve farmers in water and soil conservation. This will be achieved through:

  • Increasing water availability with seven water tanks - rehabilitation impacting >800 ha of crops, nine drinking water borewell deepening and pump installation
  • Promoting sustainable agriculture and environment protection by planting 7,000 trees, set up of three vermi-compost units, sustainable agriculture trainings and awareness programs
  • Women empowerment through training of 210 new Self-Help Groups (SHGs), monitoring of 2,500 existing SHGs
