France: TECH da Power - Women empowerment through skill development in cybersecurity

This Pilot program includes technical training & empowerment for disavantaged women of Seine-Saint-Denis to develop sustainable employment in cybersecurity (Under-represented in this booming sector).

The NGO links women in need of qualifications & employment with tech companies that are struggling to recruit locally & diversify teams through partnerships (Recruiting companies & local organizations).

Key activities:

  • Campaign targeting local women & professionals to attend a free bootcamp & mobilize them towards tech opportunities (Introduction to programming skills & discovery of tech jobs)
  • 6-week pre-training courses to learn cybersecurity & programming fundamentals
  • 6-month intensive technical training program to become Cyber Security Analyst, followed by a mandatory 6-month internship.
