France: Powering a digital solution to mentor young jobseekers

  • Status

    Ongoing

  • Location France

This mentoring program will allow young jobseekers with a migrant background to benefit from the support/guidance of a trained volunteer aged 50+.  Each “duo” thus formed lasts 6 months, meets every week, follows a precise methodology & is supervised by a member of NGO permanent staff for advice & liaison with other social services when needed

Development relies on specialisation, proven results, robust mentoring methodology & training, customized IT systems & long-term partnerships. For youth, the need to be equipped & trained to use digital tools is in fact as important as it was during the pandemic. Digital gap during COVID was obvious & the challenge is now to fill that gap. The Alstom Foundation funds to be used to purchase laptops in the framework of a complete digital mentoring solution.
