  • Status

    Ongoing

  • Location Tarbes

Ecological transition will create up to 900,000 new jobs by 2050 in France (ADEME), meaning strong opportunities for not/little qualified/unemployed people. The schools of ecological transition provide trainings offering a professional reintegration through "green" manual jobs in various sectors (Sustainable housing, renewable energies, circular economy, etc) including the construction of raw earth bricks, initiation to thatch roofing, making a rocket stove, etc. The 3 courses offered:

1/ "Remobilisation“ to gain motivation, soft skills & awareness on environmental issues

2/ "Pre-qualification" to become familiar with green sectors through company visits, interventions by professionals & hands-on experiences

3/ Vocational qualification leading to a "professional worker in eco-construction" (OPEC) diploma.
