Objective: To improve the socio-economic development of women smallholder dairy farmers and the preservation of their farmlands

The project will work to improve the socio-economic development of women smallholder dairy farmers and the preservation of their farmlands through:

  • Strengthening the capacities of 300 women smallholder dairy farmers in improved nutrition of their cows to rise milk production (skills, trainings and best practices).
  • Increase knowledge on local dairy sector including opportunities to market milk and milk products to rise revenues (value chain study, promotion and sale through different circuits).
  • Improve soil fertility and cattle fodder production through proven practices on soil and water conservation, fertility management and agroforestry solutions.
