Maipu is a place with overheating periods that really needs nature to cool down. The project addresses the lack of access to safe & quality green areas in vulnerable neighborhoods through the recovery of ~1,880 m² of public space (1,141 m² for Andromeda square & 740 m² for Divina Providencia square), co-designed with Maipu communities & local government via a participatory & binding process. Priority to go to quality materials for low maintenance & vegetable species suitable to the local climate with low water requirements. The project includes:

/ Diagnose situation with communities

/ Architectural & landscape proposal for each square (Workshops to gather needs, design strategies workshop, design validation, technical requirements)

/ Trainings/workshops on environmental education

/ Construction with professionals & communities.
