Brazil: Vocational & Technological Education for Youth in Vulnerable Situations

Provide free, high-quality vocational education to 450 vulnerable youth (14-18y) from the Pedreira district, an area marked by extreme poverty, violence, low education & unemployment. The program, based on 4 vocational tracks designed to meet real labor market demands, includes:

1/ Technical training courses in business administration (Entrepreneurship, finance, marketing), IT, computer networks (Hardware, cybersecurity, connectivity) & audiovisual production (Editing, content creation, storytelling)

2/ Reinforcement in Portuguese, English & Maths

3/ Monthly one-on-one mentoring with trained educators (Personal goals, behavioral challenges, academic progress, etc)

4/ A Family Education Program with monthly meetings for parents/guardians

5/ Innovation fairs, technical visits to companies, talks with professionals, career planning & soft skills workshops.
