Belgium: ACTE: Autonomy & Competence in Technology for Access to Education and the Inclusion of Disadvantaged Youth

In Brussels, 40% of disadvantaged children face issues accessing education (Incl. digital) & quality jobs (Especially girls). The project promotes social empowerment of disadvantaged youth by facilitating their access to education, to combat school dropout, reduce the digital divide & develop 21st-century skills, using the following STEM pedagogy:

1/ Innovative & inclusive extracurricular program with thematic educational resources (AI, programming, robotics) & activities around digital technologies (After school support, techno-science workshops, science camps, access to machine tools like 3D printer, laser cutter, etc)

2/ Training ecosystem for youth social workers on digital skills (Training days, sessions, personalized support, networking opportunities, conferences, etc)

3/ Positive female role-model in technology (Tailored learning opportunities to attract min. 50% of girls).
